Glenwood State Bank takes your online account security seriously. We have implemented several measures to keep your online transactions safe and secure. These include:

Layered Security with Multi-Factor Authentication

We use a method called multi-factor authentication, where we use at least two basic “factors” to identify you. First would be your password and second would be recognition of the computer that you are logging in from or your security questions and answers.

Customer Contact

No bank employee will ever request sensitive information from you through the internet or on the phone. There are fraudulent people who may try to impersonate a Glenwood State Bank employee to try to obtain some of your sensitive information. If you are unsure that a caller is an actual Glenwood State Bank employee, please hang up or cease communication and call the Bank at one of the numbers listed below.

Regulation E

If someone uses your Password to conduct unauthorized electronic funds transfers, you must notify Glenwood State Bank within 60 days of the date of the periodic statement on which the unauthorized transfer appeared. If the bank is notified during this time frame, you will have zero liability for the unauthorized transfers. If you do NOT notify us within 60 days, you could be legally liable for the full amount. You may use online banking to conduct transactions, view account information, transfer funds between your accounts, and initiate bill payments.
